About
Crib Point
Crib Point sits on the western shore of Western Port, a quiet railway town that's really two places in one — the small residential streets around the station, and Stony Point itself, where the line and the road both end at the water.
It's not a town built for tourism, and that's part of its charm. What draws people here is practical and a little unusual: a boat ramp for chasing whiting and squid, and a ferry that carries foot passengers across Western Port to French Island and Phillip Island.
Featured spot
Stony Point Pier & Ferry Terminal
A working pier on the western edge of Western Port, with a boat ramp, car park and public toilets, and the Stony Point General Store just across the road. Cast a line for squid, King George whiting, salmon and snapper, or catch the Western Port Ferry — the MV Naturaliste sails daily to Tankerton on French Island and on to Cowes on Phillip Island.

Crib Point Eats
Small, but it covers the essentials — a milk bar and a pizza takeaway near the station, the general store by the pier, and a cafe and bakery close by for something before the ferry.
