Safety Beach Pier

About

Safety Beach

Safety Beach is a small bayside town and the last stretch of foreshore before the hills, with a calm, safe swimming beach, a busy pier and boat ramp, and a marina cove with a boardwalk.

It's mostly about the beach, with a handful of cafes, a couple of golf courses and Martha Cove close by.

Featured Spot

The Foreshore

A 2.7km cove of calm, shallow water, made for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. The pier and boat ramp get packed over the summer holidays, and there's a fenced dog beach at Tassells Cove, a playground and barbecues, and a boardwalk that leads along to Martha Cove.

Eat & Drink

A handful of cafes and restaurants sit along the foreshore and around Martha Cove, including Martha's Table, which looks out over the marina, with more just up the road in Dromana and Mount Martha.
